In our consumer test studio we put the product in the hands of your target group. As part of the application test, the test subjects use and evaluate the product under controlled conditions. To be able to handle the many and often very wide-ranging enquiries we receive both efficiently and reliably while using the correct methodology, it is essential to have the right facilities and professional tools. These facilities include refrigerator and freezer capacity, a fully equipped test kitchen, six identical washing machines, online survey workstations, audio and video technology and a modern focus group unit with a comfortable air-conditioned client lounge including observation facilities.

If you are looking for somewhere to conduct one-to-one interviews in a relaxed and professional setting, our four individual test rooms are the ideal choice. Each room is equipped with a mobile washbasin and mirror and provides the ideal opportunity for consumer testing, e.g. in personal care.

Our focus group unit, which includes an air-conditioned observation room with large one-way mirror, offers the ideal opportunity to watch your target group while they test your product in use.

Spacious “Forum” (ideal for tastings)

Our spacious ipi Forum is located close to our test kitchen, and so offers the ideal environment for tastings and other testing purposes. We have no doubt that in our Forum, you and your test subjects will immediately feel comfortable to achieve the best results for your product test. Why are we so sure? We use it ourselves as an internal meeting point for all ipi employees.

Test kitchen

In our test kitchen we test your products under realistic conditions. With two identical hobs and ovens as well as ample refrigeration and freezer capacity, this is the ideal place to test your products.

We can also integrate your own electrical appliances into our test kitchen, for example, for testing stoves, hobs or kitchen fittings to ensure they meet the requirements of your target group.

Our range of state-of-the-art testing equipment also includes six identical washing machines designed specifically for consumer tests. With our technical equipment and experience, we guarantee that all tests are carried out with the highest precision and with a quality you can depend on.

Test subject pool with over 7,000 test households

We have our own test subject panel consisting of approximately 7,000 households in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, in addition to a Germany-wide partner network for field services and an international institute network. Backed by these resources, we are well-positioned to find exactly the right target group for your question. Our test subject pool consists of many different types of reliable people who we have been working with for several years. Recruiting outside our own panel of test subjects also enables us to recruit people from challenging target groups and to work to specific requirements (e.g. Sinus-Milieus).

The latest recording technology

With our modern digital recording facilities, we offer you the opportunity to observe your studies in the highest viewing quality. We provide full HD recording and full HD web streams that allow you to follow and analyse your studies in real time. This way, you will no longer miss any key findings and will always stay up to date.

In-house workshop

In our own workshop, our professional “tinkerers” develop tailored test setups for you on request. For example, this is where highly-specialised bespoke solutions are created for endurance testing.
