The ipi Institut für Produktforschung has been accredited by DAkkS [German Institute for Standardisation] for DIN EN ISO 17025 since the end of 2017. DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle) is the national accreditation body in Germany. As an independent institution, DAkkS is responsible for the accreditation of bodies that carry out industry-standard tests, including testing laboratories such as ipi.
What does DAkkS audit?
Independence, impartiality & neutrality
The ipi Institute is verified by DAkkS for technical and organisational competence using strictly defined procedures. As part of continuing on-site audits, we are required to demonstrate that our test results are correct, reliable and objective. In addition, the audit also monitors and evaluates the organisational competence of the ipi Institute, including the quality management system. DAkkS accreditation is an important guarantee of quality, as it attests not only to competence but also independence, impartiality and neutrality.
